Wine Review: This clear and medium ruby colored red blend opens with a black currant and wintermint with hints of dark chocolate, red plum, and clove. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, well balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a red plum and black currant blend with notes of red cherry and oak. We also detected some hints of integrated stony fine minerality, milk chocolate, clove, and black tea at the very end. The finish is dry, and its refined tannins and fruit flavors linger nicely. I would pair this food friendly and easy to drink red wine with a veal roast with shallots and peppercorns in the near term. Enjoy - Ken & Mark
Winemaker Notes: A Bordeaux-style blend with a fruit-forward nose and earthly palate. This wine showcases notes of candied plum, black current, cherry juice, and violets on the nose, complemented by notes of dark chocolate, potting soil, and hints of cranberry and brown sugar on the palate.
