Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc is a very good wine to consider with seafood. It opens with a unique mild yellow grapefruit, Honeydew melon and wet grass bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a gentle mineral, saline and yellow grapefruit blend. I also detected a hint of lime mixed in. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. This Sauvignon Blanc as suggested above would pair nicely with a pan-roasted wild Alaskan halibut with an asparagus risotto. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Danielle's Estate Sauvignon Blanc is light straw in color, a very floral wine with notes of citrus blossom, apricot, tangerine and honey dew melon. On the palate, medium texture, bright acid with tropical fruit flavors along with passion fruit, melon, lemon and white peach. A long lasting viscous finish. This medium bodied aromatic wine is clean and crisp and perfect to pair with your favorite meal or enjoying by the pool.
