Wine Review: This pitch black colored Malbec from Merriam is very impressive. It opens with an inviting blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth, yet juicy. The flavor profile is blueberry with notes of strawberry rhubarb with some hints clove and cinnamon. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and fruits subtly fade away. The Panel thought this Malbec would pair well with classic ragu Bolognese over bow ties or duck with a cherry sauce. Enjoy – KWGTP
