Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Rockpile opens with a mild black currant bouquet with hints of menthol and spice drop. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very approachable. The flavor profile is a black currant with notes of oak, clove and blueberry. We also picked up hints of stewed plum. The finish is dry and its moderate sticky tannins linger nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this Cab with prime rib or steak tips. Enjoy - KWGTP
