Wine Review: This pitch black colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black currant and strawberry licorice bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty black currant and olive blend with notes of black plum and oak. I also detected hints of black cherry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger nicely. This Cabernet would pair nicely with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep dark magenta purple with notes of cassis, blackberry, mocha and clove. Nicely layered with concentrated flavors of cherry, cassis, blackberry, plum, spice, tobacco and chocolate. While very pleasing upon release, this fantastically vibrant and concentrated wine promises to richly reward after a few years of aging because of the superlative quality of the fruit and underlying tannins.
