Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet Franc opens with black cherry bouquet with a hint of cranberry and plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, elegant and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild plum with hints of black pepper and cranberry. The finish is dry and its fine tannins make it very food friendly. I would pair this wine with a filet mignon at your favorite steak restaurant. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Great extraction, brilliant color with light purple hues on the edge. Floral expressions of violet, cranberry, spice, strawberry and warm berry pie. On the palate a hint of mulled blackberry and black raspberry, black berry sorbet and a hint of chocolate ice cream. Medium "elegant" tannins, youthful acidity with notes of vanilla, winter spices and cherry cola. Enjoy!!!
