Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Franc opens with a very pleasant black cherry bouquet with a hint of black pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, silky, and elegant. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry with hints of black pepper. The finish is dry and its building tannins are sticky and linger for a while. This very tasty and food friendly Cab Franc would pair well with a well marbled ribeye steak at Grill 23. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This fifth bottling from Jones Vineyard appears bright garnet in color opening to a terrific scent of spicy-plum, pomegranate, loganberry, blueberry, and light spice akin to fresh ground white pepper. Served with chocolate dessert, this is a real crowd pleaser.
