Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Malbec is pretty impressive. It opens with an attractive spicy strawberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced, smooth, and elegant. The flavor profile is a blend of ripe strawberry and light raspberry with a hint of spice. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are nicely prolonged and smooth. This food friendly offering would pair well with a lamb chop. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Incredible dark red/purple color. The aromas of sweet French oak and espresso get more complex with every swirl of the glass, unveiling black plum, ripe raspberry, and violet aromas. The wine is full-bodied, dense, deep and chewy with flavors of black raspberry, plums, roasted herb, and caramel notes. This beauty could be enjoyed now with a nice ribeye steak or leg of lamb since it shows incredible balance for such a concentrated wine.
