Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Malbec from Mendoza opens with a fragrant black raspberry and eucalyptus bouquet with hints of blackberry, caramel and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused gentle plum with hints of faint strawberry, licorice and cocoa. The finish is dry and its flavors, acidity and tannins stick around for a while. The Panel thought this Malbec would pair nicely with a roast pork tenderloin or a skirt steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The aromas of sweet French oak and espresso get more complex with every swirl of the glass, unveiling black plum, ripe raspberry, and violet aromas. The wine is full-bodied, dense, deep and chewy with flavors of black raspberry, plums, roasted herbs, and mint. This beauty could be enjoyed now with a nice ribeye steak or leg of lamb since it shows incredible balance for such a concentrated wine.
