Wine Review: This ruby colored Malbec from Mendoza was well received by the panel. It opens with black raspberry bouquet with hints of old oak, blackberry and leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is a black plum and minerality blend with notes of oak a touch of blackberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are sticky and linger for quite a while. The panel thought this was a very good stuffed burger wine. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Intense fruity aromas of raspberry, plum, blackberry and cassis immediately greet you upon first sniff. These explosive fruit notes continue on the palate of this light-bodied, easy to drink Malbec. Soft tannins give way to a long finish making this wine enjoyable on its own or paired with roast pork or lamb spareribs.
