Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple colored Malbec opens with a blueberry bouquet with a hint of black raspberry and raisins. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and very juicy. The flavor profile is a ripe blackberry with notes of black currant, black pepper, and oak. The finish is quite dry and its oaky tannins are a bit sticky and linger. This is a big Malbec and it would pair well with a New York strip steak. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Incredible dark red/purple color. The aromas of sweet French oak and espresso get more complex with every swirl of the glass, unveiling black plum, ripe raspberry, and violet aromas. The wine is full-bodied, dense, deep and chewy with flavors of black raspberry, plums, roasted herbs, and mint. This beauty could be enjoyed now with a nice ribeye steak or leg of lamb since it shows incredible balance for such a concentrated wine.
