Wine Review: This pale straw-colored opens with a mild lime and nectarine pit with hints of grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, round and has slightly creamy mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a stony mineral influenced mild yellow grapefruit with notes of guava. I also detected some hints of lime zest, white pepper, and nectarine pit. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger and last for quite a while. This Sauvignon Blanc would pair well with grilled swordfish steak with a lemon-dill aioli sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2020 Sauvignon Blanc was fermented in stainless steel and comprises from fruit picked at various ripeness levels to help achieve balance in acidity, minerality and developed fruit flavors. The result is an intricate rich wine with pronounced aromas of lemon curd, honeysuckle, white flowers, and grapefruit. A full bodied and structured palate offering flavors of lemon zest, crisp granny smith apple and guava that are rounded out with a soft and palate cleansing acidity. This is a complex and textured sauvignon blanc destined to be served alongside fresh seafood and good company.
