Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a fragrant black currant and leather bouquet with hints of black raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with gentle acidity. The mouthfeel is soft and balanced. The flavor profile is black cherry and stewed black plum with notes of stony minerality and cassis. The finish is dry, and its well-managed fine-grained tannins stick around for a very long time. The Panel would pair this Cab with flat iron steak or a veal chop. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2018 Kate's and B's shows an elegant lavender, sweet vanilla, and warm Christmas spice aroma. The palate is filled with blackberries, raspberries, and hints of cranberry. Elements of cigar box complement the silky round tannins with a tight backbone of acid that will subside over time.
