Wine Review: This very dark purple colored wine opens with an attractive cherry and raspberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and elegant. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry with notes of raspberry. The finish is dry and its fine tannins stick around for a while. I felt this would be a great accompaniment to beef bourguignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: 2006 was not the easiest vintage, but some ruthless fruit thinning helped get this block to the point of even ripeness and balance. Bright acidity and rich texture complete this concentrated wine that reflects the site, the vintage and the kind of wine we like to enjoy. The resulting wine is intensely flavored and highly structured. Black fruits, spice, cocoa and fine tannins fill this wine.
