Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Syrah based blend from McPrice Myers opens with a red licorice, black currant, and clay bouquet with hints of cinnamon, cedar, and red cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and juicy. The flavor profile is a black currant and stony minerality blend with notes of black pepper, red cherry, and oak. We also detected hints of pomegranate, black tea, and green olive. The finish is dry, and its moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. The Tasting Panel would decant this Syrah in the near term before pairing it with a lamb shepherd's pie or with a pot roast. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Incredible dichotomy of fruits and savory earth tones. Hyacinth flower, satsuma plum, ripe nectarine, strawberry guava, lychee, pomegranate syrup, rib-roast, sweet olive, vanilla bean. Ethereal texture, mulberry silk, with fresh, mouthwatering, juicy acidity and persistent levity.
