Wine Review: This deep purple colored Zinfandel from McPrice Myers is another impressive offering! It opens with cherry pie and black raspberry bouquet with hints of black plum and florals. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, juicy, concentrated and round. The flavor profile is black cherry compote and black plum blend with notes of pomegranate. We also detected hints of blackberry, black tea, crushed stone, and oak. The finish is dry, and its flavors and dusty tannins linger nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Zin with smoked brisket or a pot roast. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Hibiscus flower, dragon fruit, mulberry, blood orange, cinnamon stick, sandalwood. Incredible freshness, palate leads with juicy, fresh fruits. Finish is lively. Energetic. Expressive. Enjoy with: Savory, warm-spiced dry-rubbed braised pork belly.
