Wine Review: This dark ruby colored opens with a fragrant cigar box, graphite, and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus medium acidity. I also found it to be mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a black cherry and flinty minerality blend with notes of red currant and oolong tea. I also detected hints of craisin in the aftertaste. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins stick around for quite a while. I would pair this rustic styled Chianti Classico Riserva with a braised beef ragu. Enjoy - Ken
