Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Tuscany opens with a very inviting black cherry, cedar and black licorice bouquet with hints of graphite and blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, nicely balanced, smooth and silky. The flavor profile is a tasty black currant and cedar blend with notes of tart black cherry and plum. We also detected hints of nicely integrated stony minerality, oak and some oregano. The finish is dry and its moderate dusty tannins build-up and stick around for quite some time. This Cab calls for a well-marbled piece of meat. A thick ribeye steak would be perfect. Enjoy – Ken & Jeoff
