Wine Review: This opaque and midnight blue colored Aussie red blend opens with a musty oak and red raspberry bouquet with a hint of boysenberry and black licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, juicy and fruit forward. Those fruits flavors are a boysenberry jam with notes of black raspberry. I also detected hints of ripe black cherry and a hint of mild oak in the background. The finish is dry and its mild tannins make it food friendly. I would pair this fruit bomb with barbecue short ribs. Enjoy - Ken
