Wine Review: This is a nice Pinot Gris offering from Maryhill. The color is almost translucent with a slight straw hue. The bouquet is inviting with notes of tropical fruits including pineapples and guava. I also detected hints of coconut. The palate was light and vibrant, yet smooth with flavors of lemon, lime and a touch of clementine. I enjoyed the lively acidity. The finish was refreshing with notes of pineapples appearing. I would pair this well-priced Pinot Gris with lemon butter scallops. - Joe

Winemaker Notes: Rich nectarine and pear notes mingled with honey. Crisp fruit flavor is delivered at the front of the pallet, while a slight cream texture fills in the finish.
