Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a lime and faint grapefruit bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced and fresh. The flavor profile is mild mineral infused gentle lime and grapefruit blend with hints of Anjou pear. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This Sauvignon Blanc is versatile and would pair well with seared sea scallops with ginger-lime butter. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This complex wine is easily one of our favorite Sauvignon Blancs in a stretch of already exemplary vintages. Strong notes of ripe pear, and golden apple with undertones of tropical guava and mango are contrasted with citrusy lime zest, tangerine, and a hint of minerality. The palate boasts a flawless carry-through from the front to the back, with a pop of clean, refined acid at the finish.
