Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Red Wine from Marietta opens with a black plum and pomegranate bouquet with hints of cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, very approachable and easy to drink. The flavor profile is black plum and tobacco blend with notes of pomegranate and oolong tea. I also detected hints of oak, black pepper, and blackberry. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and its dusty tannins stick around for quite some time. I would pair this crowd-pleasing red blend with your favorite juicy burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Zinfandel-based blend opens with bright plum fruit and evolves into a dark, focused profile with briar patch and black tea. Medium-bodied with sweet spice, velvety tannins, and vibrant energy, it pairs effortlessly with any meal or occasion.
