Wine Review: This deep straw colored Albarino in a cool blue bottle opens with a sea spray and grapefruit pith bouquet with hints of lime zest and quince. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, fresh and clean. The flavor profile is a lime and white grapefruit blend with notes of stony minerality and white peach. I also detected hints of quince and ginger. The finish is nicely refreshing. It would pair this food friendly Albarino with a grilled mahi-mahi fish tacos. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Mar de Frades Rias Baixas Albarino is a refreshing and aromatic Spanish white. It is a bright, pale lemon in color, with inviting flickers of lime. The nose is fresh and intense, with notes of wildflowers, eucalyptus, mint and tropical fruit. On the palate, it is refreshing, vibrant, fluid and "electric." Harmonious and full volume, accompanied by smoothness and character.
