Wine Review: This light coral colored offering from Beaujolais opens with a mild strawberry, lime, and wet stone bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, nicely balanced, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is similar to the nose. It features a blend of gentle mild mineral influenced strawberry, lime, and watermelon with notes of banana. I also detected hints of maraschino cherry towards the very end. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. Serve this very good value Rose slightly chilled at the beach. With food, I would pair it with a grilled Mahi-mahi sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2020 vintage of the "Le Saint Pâle" Rosé is lively and fleshy. Vibrant aromas of red fruit, white peach and citrus intermingle with rose water and spice. The palate is bright and energetic revealing watermelon, tangerine, and white pepper. The wine’s juicy natural acidity is complemented by an underlying creaminess that enlivens the mouthfeel and delivers balance to the long and luscious finish.
