Wine Review: This faint peach colored wine from Beaujolais a good value. It opens with a very faint tangerine like bouquet with a hint of watermelon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused tangerine with a hint of a lime and green apple. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. This Rose would be a nice complement to food. I would pair it with steamed mussels. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The maiden release of the "Le Saint Pale" Rose is delicate and lively yet fleshy and generous. Enticing aromas of tangerine, watermelon, lime blossom and wild strawberry are supported by the subtlest touches of aniseed and lanolin. The palate is bright, energetic and mouthwatering with fresh summer fruits and floral notes supported by a steely mineral backbone. The wine's juicy natural acidity is complemented by an underlying creaminess that enlivens the mouthfeel and delivers balance to the long and luscious finish.
