Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Oregon opens with aromas of mild blueberry and bouquet garni. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry and plum blend with hints of cinnamon and faint oak. The finish is dry and flavors fades away nicely. This Pinot is very food friendly and would pair nicely with coq au vin. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2015 Two Messengers shows layers of floral red fruit supported by notes of char, briar and retrained oak. The palate is youthful and energetic, driven by vibrant strawberry, cherry and plum flavors with savory notes adding depth. Well-integrated tannins fill the mouth while a fresh, mineral line of acidity provides structure and clarity towards the long finish.
