Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley opens with a mild red raspberry bouquet with hints of oak and cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild strawberry and gentle minerality blend with notes of faint oak. I also detected hints of cherry-cola and green olive. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. This Pinot is very food friendly and would pair nicely with many foods. I would pair it with pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Red fruits and lifted floral aromas are complemented by mineral and forest floor notes. The palate is mouth filling, textured and lush. Bing cherry and blackcurrant flavors lead with layers of oak derived spice adding depth. Supple, well integrated tannins provide definition to the long and elegant finish.
