Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir from Oregon opens with an appealing cherry and strawberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, smooth and balanced. The flavor profile is a tasty gentle blueberry and cherry with nicely integrated mild minerality and a touch of old oak. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This very good finesse styled Pinot is very food friendly and would pair well with fresh sliced Norwegian salmon gravlax. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The wine opens with lifted primary red fruits and notes of five spice on the nose. On the palate, red currant and pomegranate characters are supported by supple tannins and vibrant acidity through a long, satisfying finish. Sometimes the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
