Wine Review: Cremant d'Alsace is a style of sparkling wine that still hasn't made it to the mainstream, but that won't last long. Lucien Albrecht is a great example of why. With an elegance that is only matched by sparklers from Burgundy or Champagne, this wine opens up with a bouquet of wildflowers and fresh Meyer lemon. The palate offers that very vibrant and satisfying taste found in a glass of fresh lemonade, but without the sweetness. Add a healthy dose of brioche, Gala apple, and Washington State white cherries and what you have is a very good alternative to the more expensive Champagne. - Nicolay
Winemaker Notes: Distinguished by a fine and elegant bead, a beautiful straw color; a light, delicate palate. Delicious at any time of the day and with many foods.
