Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Malbec is a good value. It opens with a plum, marionberry, and wet slate bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, very smooth, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a black plum and mild black currant blend with notes of gentle oak. We also detected some hints of graphite and cola mixed in. The finish is dry, and its moderate dusty tannins are nicely extended. This food friendly Malbec will be a crowd pleaser. We would pair it with your favorite burger recipe or with veal parmigiana. Enjoy – Ken & Mark
Winemaker Notes: Color: Deep red with very intense violet shades; clean and shiny.
Aroma: Complex aroma of berry; cherry, plum and raspberry flavor stand out as they combine with wood notes, especially chocolate and vanilla.
Mouth: Unctuous with ripe tannins; very well-balanced, good astringency and acidity.
It is an ideal companion for red meat, game, and hard paste cheese.
