Wine Review: On the nose, the Liberated Sauvignon Blanc is a cross of New Zealand, lemon zest with hints of grapefruit, and California, pineapples and peaches. This interaction of higher acid fruits and ripe fruits continues on the palate, which makes for an interesting mouthfeel. One moment ripe peaches with hints of smoky pineapples are on the palate, while the next moment gooseberry and lemongrass are present. A valiant effort that needs to be reined in. - Nicolay
Winemaker Notes: Inspired by the free spirit of invention and suave sophistication without attitude, this refreshing Sauvignon Blanc from the North Coast offers notes of lime zest and key lime, exotic fresh quince and gooseberry. Intriguing jasmine blossom with a hint of roasted Padron peppers, it shows assertive acidity with flavors of golden delicious apple and white Asian pear.
