Wine Review: I got the "Graduate" version of the three distinct labels for this Pinot. The wine was garnet in color and opens with cherry, wet slate, oak and warm spice notes. It is medium bodied and dry with light tannins and gentle acidity that makes it fun and tasty to quaff. There are flavors of cherry, pomegranate, spice and oak. The fruity finish is long but with some heat. Grilled pork chops or a rotisserie chicken would go well with this weeknight Pinot. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Liberated from the Pinot Noir trend of overly ripe fruit and high alcohol, this wine exhibits balance with bright fruit combined with the earthiness of tea leaf. Hints of Bing cherry, cranberry and spice
