Wine Review: This dark red Cabernet Sauvignon opens with an earthy blackberry, wet wood bouquet and includes light eucalyptus, cedar and notes of herbs. The wine is young and rustic on the palate with blackberry, plum, cedar plank, integrated tannins, leather and milk chocolate flavors. I would let this Cab sit for an hour or so before serving to let the tannins mellow a bit. The finish is dry, tannic and extended. I would pair this North Coast Cab with a prime rib. - Joe
Winemaker Notes: Dark ruby in color. Aromas of sweet black cherry and plum with hints of spice, toast and milk chocolate. Soft rich black fruit builds to a medium structure of velvety tannin. Nice balance and mouth feel.
