Wine Review: This straw colored Gruner Veltliner is very good and a real crowd pleaser. It opens with a mild Anjou pear and wet stone bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced, mouthwatering and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty mild Granny Smith apple with nicely integrated minerality. I also detected hints of saline and Anjou pear. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. This Gruner is very food friendly and versatile. I would pair it with Coquilles St. Jacques. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of ripe apples and a typical Veltliner spiciness marry to create a fascinating fruit bouquet. On the palate, the wine is soft and juicy, supported by a fine fruit acidity. Very harmonious, allowing for perfectly smooth drinking. Simply charming!
