Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored wine opens with a cherry vanilla like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced, and rich. The flavor profile is an extracted cherry with notes of oak and a touch of blueberry and spice. The finish is rather dry and its moderate tannins build up nicely. This wine would pair very nicely with duck breast. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Estate grown, produced and bottled, our 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon has lush ripeness, with deep black cherry and cassis characters, accented by anise, cacao, vanilla and bittersweet chocolate. Supportive tannins and layers of complexity extend over the long finish. Aged 22 months in French oak barrels, the wine was bottled unfiltered to retain purity of expression.
