Wine Review: This hay colored Albariño from La Val opens with a lemon-lime bouquet with hints of pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, gentle and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is tonic water and mild lime zest blend with notes of lemon tea and chalky minerality. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are very refreshing. This crowd-pleasing Albariño would pair well with swordfish skewers. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Straw yellow with greenish hues. Clean and bright on the nose with good aromatic intensity, highlighting primary aromas of fruit (apricot, apple, pineapple), notes of fresh herbs (bay leaf, fennel), and citrus (grapefruit), all on a floral and saline background. Medium structure on the palate and a long, balanced, and fresh finish. Fruity throughout with notes of citrus and Atlantic herbs. Salty and slightly bitter finish.
