Wine Review: This pitch-black color Napa blend is impressive. It wine opens with a faint blueberry and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty black currant and black olive blend with notes of oak. We also detected hints of dark coffee and dark chocolate. The finish is very dry and its tannins stick around for a long time. The Panel felt this was a drink on its own wine. Enjoy it by a cozy fire this winter. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The Doctor has a dark garnet hue and expressive aromas of ripe blackberries, dark chocolate and anise. With a fleshy texture and supple tannins, this wine envelops the palate in luscious, lingering boysenberry, crème de cassis and toffee. Pair it with a dry-aged ribeye steak or a roasted spring lamb with fresh herbs. Drink now through 2035.
