Wine Review: This almost clear colored wine won our blind tasting of North American Pinot Gris. It opens with a very mild caramel apple like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, nicely balanced, and elegant. The flavor profile is an enjoyable and easy to drink mild Anjou pear with hints of minerality, apricot, and green apple. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. The panel thought this wine was very food friendly and would pair very well with mini ham and cheese quiche appetizers and even you Thanksgiving Turkey. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Appearance: Pale straw Aroma: Tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, melon and spice. Flavor: Citrus, apple, peach with a spicy mineral finish. Mouthfeel: Incredible balance between fruit and acid, crisp and clean, yet smooth and round.
