Wine Review: This opaque and pitch black colored Cabernet for Australia opens with a black licorice and blackberry bouquet with a hint a balsamic. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and easy going. The flavor profile is a tasty mild mineral infused black currant with notes of oak and mild plum. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are rather sticky and linger for quite some time. This is a drink now Cab that would benefit from decanting and to be served with a well-marbled ribeye.
