Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored GSM opens with a mild black raspberry bouquet with a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is blackberry with notes of oak and black pepper. I also detected a hint of plum. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins linger slightly. This Aussie red blend will pair well with lentil soup with smoked ham. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Appearance: Brick red in colour with youthful crimson hues. Nose: The heady aromas of garden spices, dark cherries, leather and subtle oak char flood the nose. Palate: Beautifully apportioned with lingering flavours and fruit sweetness, the Medley intimately marries the earthiness, chocolate and spice of the three varieties in a layered and texturally rewarding palate explosion. Food Match: Try with Osso Bucco, Chorizo sausage and ploughman's platters, Especially good with traditional Italian dishes or Tapas and Mezza sharing plates.
