Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple colored Grenache opens with fragrant and attractive ripe boysenberry bouquet with a hint of blackberry. On the palate, this wine is smooth, well balanced, and absolutely delicious. The flavor profile is a harmonious blend of boysenberry and mild black plum with hints of blackberry, spice and gentle oak. The finish is dry and its moderate fine tannins stick around for a little while after the wine is gone. This wine is a perfect example of Excellent, Aussie Grenache. It would be perfect with a thick cowboy ribeye with sliced boiled beets. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This gorgeous, aromatic wine exhibits aromas of black cherry, raspberries, and dark chocolate while the palate is broodingly dark and complex with chocolate plum flavors. Dark spice and subtle oak offer complexity and balance to the persistent, silky finish. This wine can be aged for at least a decade or more.
