Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Ken Wright Cellars opens with a black plum and black cherry bouquet with hints of craisin and tea. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, bright and fresh. The flavor profile is a red plum and black cherry blend with notes of craisin, black tea, and stone dust. I also detected hints of oak and black pepper. The finish is dry, and its moderate dusty tannins, acidity, and flavors linger nicely. This Pinot went perfectly with my roasted duck breast with a cannellini bean puree and a l'orange gastrique at S.N.O.B in Charleston, SC. Enjoy - Ken
