Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with classic black currant and black plum bouquet with hints of black cherry-cola and vanilla. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, well-rounded and classy. The flavor profile is a tasty black currant and oak blend with notes of graphite and spice. We also detected some hints of black pepper, 70% dark cocoa powder and black coffee mixed in. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around for a while. The Panel would pair this Cab with a New York strip steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: A wine of great energy, length, and finesse, 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon opens with floral notes, cedar and pencil shavings followed by ripe blackberry, cassis and red currant jam. Fresh and focused with pleasing acid and tannin structure building tension along the palate to the lingering finish.
