Wine Review: This glistening light-yellow colored Chardonnay from Phelps is Excellent! It opens with a fragrant and attractive pineapple and lemon bouquet with hints of cashew and sea shell. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a wonderfully blended mix of Meyer lemon and oak with nicely integrated chalky minerality. I also detected notes of green apple, quince and a touch of pineapple towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This impressive Chardonnay would pair well with chicken Francese. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2018 Chardonnay opens with generous white flower, lemon zest and fresh pear. A very linear offering with vivid acidity, bright green apple, tart lemon and a mineral driven lengthy finish.
