Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Joseph Phelps opens an inviting black cherry and mild cola bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very well balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is tasty mild black raspberry with notes of gentle oak with hints of black cherry and red licorice. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins stick around for an extended period of time. This Pinot would pair very nicely with a filet mignon and grilled asparagus. Enjoy - Ken
