Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with black currant and cranberry bouquet with hints of pomegranate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is a mild blackberry with notes of black currant. I also detected hints of plum, cola, and gentle oak in the background. The finish is dry and moderate tannins and mild acidity linger for a while after the wine is gone. This Pinot would pair well with grilled salmon steak. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Fragrant aromas of Bing cherries, red licorice and plums burst forth from the glass and foretell the complexities that will follow. That palate showcases bright red fruit and subtle earth tones balanced by bold acidity with elegant tannins.
