Wine Review: This ruby colored Zinfandel from the "Dusi Vineyard" opens with a musty ripe plum and red berry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth, yet juicy. The flavor profile is a mineral infused red currant with notes of cinnamon and craisin. We also detected hints of oak and strawberry rhubarb. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and fruit fade away nicely. This Zin is food friendly. I would pair this Zin with Chinese-style grilled pork ribs. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Ripe raspberry and strawberry parfait aromatics and flavors with dark chocolate and fresh vanilla bean that seem to wrap around a core of black cherries.
