Wine Review: A refreshing, dry Riesling from the Alsace region of France. In the glass it is a light straw color with a mild bouquet of lemon verbena, wet river rocks and jasmine. There is plenty of crisp acidity on the palate, with a medium-minus body, interesting texture, and a very clean taste. There are flavors of green apple, not quite ripe honeydew melon, lemon-lime and chalky minerality. The finish is dry, tangy and lingers for a while. Perfect on a hot summer day with tarragon chicken salad wraps. – Mark
Winemaker Notes: What a beautiful gastronomic Riesling! Indeed, the slightly mineral nose let appear in the mouth notes of citrus fruits, which give it a great liveliness. It excels with fish, shellfish (St Jacques) and crustaceans. It is also admirable with poultry, white meats, and goat cheeses.
