Wine Review: This brilliant dark red colored Pinot opens with a very shy strawberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, smooth, and very elegant. The flavor profile is a tasty mild red raspberry with a touch of plum. The finish is dry and its mild tannins linger for a while. This food friendly Pinot will nicely complement a turkey dinner with stuffing and cranberry sauce. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of the 2007 Robert Thomas is full of vibrant fruit with touches of rose petal, violet and a subtle toastiness. Ripe strawberry, cherry, and nuances of cranberry fill your mouth with silkiness balanced by a nice acidity. Refined fruit is gracefully layered with soft tannins that carry through to a lengthy finish lush with caramel and vanilla.
