Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot opens with a black raspberry bouquet with a hint of strawberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, well balanced, and rich. The flavor profile is a black raspberry with hints of anise, vanilla, and black pepper. The finish is dry and it displays moderate tannins. This substantial Pinot would pair well with veal marsala. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of leather, mushroom and cocoa intermingle with dark plum, cinnamon and vanilla. The wine has a smooth entry with a rich andfleshy mid-palate followed by a long, spicy finish with notes of fig, dark cherry and fennel mixed with caramel undertones. This firmly immense and well balanced wine is a beautiful expression of Russian River Valley Pinot Noir.
